How to Install Windows 10
Note: Before starting the installation process, make sure to back up any important data on your computer to an external storage device or cloud service.
Create a bootable USB flash drive: Download the Windows 10 ISO file from the Microsoft website and use a software such as Rufus or Microsoft's official Media Creation Tool to create a bootable USB flash drive with the Windows 10 installation files.
Insert the bootable USB flash drive: Insert the bootable USB flash drive into a USB port on your computer.
Restart your computer: Restart your computer and boot from the bootable USB flash drive. You may need to change the boot order in your computer's BIOS to prioritize the USB flash drive.
Select language, time, and currency: Choose your preferred language, time zone, and currency format.
Click Install now: Click the "Install now" button to start the installation process.
Enter the product key: Enter the 25-digit product key that came with your Windows 10 purchase. If you don't have a product key, you can skip this step and activate Windows later.
Accept the license terms: Read and accept the license terms.
Choose installation type: Choose between "Upgrade" and "Custom" installation. If you want to keep your files, programs, and settings, choose "Upgrade". If you want to perform a clean installation, choose "Custom".
Choose the partition to install Windows: Select the partition where you want to install Windows 10. If you want to create a new partition, click on "New" and follow the prompts.
Wait for installation to complete: Wait for the installation process to complete. This may take some time depending on your computer's hardware and the installation options you chose.
Set up Windows: Once the installation is complete, you'll be prompted to set up Windows. Follow the prompts to customize your settings and create a user account.
Install drivers and updates: Install any necessary drivers and updates for your computer's hardware to ensure optimal performance.
